About PortProcure

The maritime supply network, in one platform

PortProcure brings the entire ship-supply chain into one place — so shipowners and managers find verified suppliers in any port, track their vessels, and source supplies with a single RFQ, while suppliers list free and win business from vessels worldwide.

What we do

Three jobs, one platform

Directory

Find — and be found by — verified maritime suppliers and service providers, by category and port.

Vessel operations

Track vessels by IMO and monitor ports, lighthouses and weather in one console.

Procurement

Send RFQs, compare quotes and award — without scattered emails.

How it works

From inbound vessel to delivered supplies

01

Find the right port

Search verified suppliers by category and the exact port your vessel is calling — or track your vessel by IMO and source for its next call.

02

Request quotes

Send one structured RFQ — with IMPA codes, port and ETA — to relevant suppliers, and get like-for-like quotes back in the platform.

03

Compare & award

Compare quotes on price, lead time and delivery capability, then award the whole RFQ or split it across the best suppliers.

04

Delivery to the berth

Track the purchase order through goods receipt and invoice, so supplies reach the vessel before it sails.

Why we built it

A single, trusted source of supplier truth

Ship supply today is fragmented — scattered directories, dead phone numbers, and sourcing that lives in email threads and spreadsheets. When a vessel is inbound and needs stores before it sails, that friction costs time and money.

PortProcure connects the dots: inbound vessel → the right port → vetted suppliers → RFQ → compare → award → delivery to the berth. Fresh, verified data means fewer failed deliveries; structured, comparable quotes mean faster decisions; and one audit trail keeps the whole requisition-to-delivery cycle in a single place. Free for buyers, free for suppliers to list.

Who it's for

Built for both sides of the quay

Shipowners & managers

Purchasing officers, superintendents and masters who need the right supplies, in the right port, before the vessel sails.

Suppliers & chandlers

Ship chandlers, equipment and spares suppliers, repair yards and service providers who want qualified enquiries from vessels worldwide — no paywall to start.

Agents & surveyors

Port agents, surveyors and logistics providers who both list their services and transact on the platform.

FAQ

About PortProcure — FAQ

What is PortProcure?

PortProcure is a global maritime platform that combines a verified supplier directory, a vessel-operations hub and a procurement layer — so vessels find the suppliers and services they need in every port, and suppliers get found by vessels worldwide.

Is PortProcure free to use?

Yes. It is free for buyers to search, contact suppliers and run RFQs, and free for suppliers to list a full business profile. The platform is funded by advertising, not by charging buyers or listing fees.

Who uses PortProcure?

Shipowners, ship managers, fleet operators, purchasing officers and superintendents on the buying side; ship chandlers, equipment and spares suppliers, repair yards, service providers and port agents on the supply side.

How is supplier data verified?

Listings are vetted and can carry a verified badge, and supplier profiles build credibility through ratings and response-time signals. Current, verified contact data means fewer dead numbers and failed deliveries than scattered legacy directories.

Which ports and categories does it cover?

PortProcure spans thousands of ports worldwide — built on the World Port Index and UN/LOCODE — across a full set of maritime supplier categories, from ship chandlers and provisions to bunkering, spares, safety and survey services.

How does PortProcure make money if it's free?

Registration and listings are free. Revenue comes from banner advertising at launch, with optional supplier premium tools and RFQ transaction features planned later — buyers are never charged.
